Chevrolet shipped sales kits to its dealers on what appears to be a monthly basis. The kit was called "Communication- a professional service for Chevrolet retail management". The kits included books like the one shown on the left, slide strips and records to go with them. The kits also included various options books available, addendums to the product from a sales standpoint, and an occasional quiz to see if the sales staff was prepared. By clicking the link at the bottom of this page, you can view a "focus on Camaro" slide show from September 1966. Be prepared to take some time because there are around 60 slides. The kit comes with 12 slide films and this is just one of them. Of course some of them are about Corvairs, trucks, etc. I have one more kit coming that I will scan and get online as soon as possible. I am going to re-vamp the Chevrolet literature area because I am getting to much of it, and it is located everywhere... To do this, I need to flex the site up to the next plan. We currently have 50 megabytes of space used.. Which is why you will find more First Year Camaro graphics here than anywhere else on the web.
