Here is the car ready to go to the media blast shop where everything except the floor would be blasted. This included the firewall, frame and fender wells.

This was an interesting process which left all original wax markings intact. They use plastic material like the resin used to make electrical socket/switch covers to remove the paint. It is so gentle they can remove the paint and leave the body filler. It is not a good alternative to sand blasting because it does not remove rust, but is the ultimate body stripping technique. The guy running the winch is my buddy Jeff, who has a tendency to goat me into projects like this. Thanks Jeff !
