These are a couple pictures sent from a previous owner. As you can see from the sides of photo, the pictures were taken in 1970 and 1971. My first thought was hey boys, get off my car !

Both pictures show front bumper guards which do not show up on the cowl tag. The car also has a rear defrost unit which does not show up either. Based on information obtained from "the registry" it appears that other cars purchased from Frontier Chevrolet  received similar add-ons when new.

July of 1970

Here is the original Bill of Sale which the previous owner (Dale) received from the state of Montana after doing a title search. It does not give a lot of information. It does have original owners name and age. I have yet to locate him..

The price of $4,267.64 pretty much dictates that the car had headers and the cowl plenum when purchased new. I can't find any other way to make the car add up to this price, short of adding in a short box pick up. As you can imagine there are a lot of Ronald Smiths in the US. Actually I think there were about 40  Ronald D. Smiths in his age bracket. I was unable to find they right one. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr. Smith please E Mail me.
