What's New (and coming) 7/04/2001 Happy 4th of July ! Added some nice stuff to the Full Race Gallery for the Johnny Moore car. First, you will see the invoice, which makes it the first Z28 invoice ever written, and then you will see the documents that Michael Lamm used for his book "The Great Camaro" about the first twenty-five Z28's. You will find these documents in the tech-info documentation section as well as a link from the Johnny Moore write up. 7/01/2001 I added A LOT of stuff today, and only touched about 1/3 of the stuff on the desk that needs added. Not to mention, the around 20 items that are in the mail coming this way. Enjoy... Here is what is new. Thanks to Jon Mello for his contributions. I basically added items to three areas. You will find several things new in the Chevy Print section. Scroll to the bottom of the thumbnails on the left. There is a couple new things in the tech-info survivor section, and finally, you will see some of the covers of the race programs for the First Z28 ever built. Now owned by Jon Mello. Click here to see them. 6/23/2001 You will find Brett Radonof's Marina Blue 67 Z28 in the Gallery. So what else is coming. Well.. Two more dealer kits, the 67 radio advertising record, a 67 Chevrolet advertisement I have never seen, 67 Camaro key chain, 1967 Corporate report with new pictures, 3 factory Chevrolet/Bonanza TV show items and more ! 6/7/2001 Added a new 67 Z article from April 67. It is Speed and Supercar. More coming very soon. 5/25/2001 You will find a 1967 Chevrolet travel guide in the Chevy print section. I have some more dealer training stuff to add from my first dealer training kit and a new poster as soon as it arrives. New items inlclude Chevrolet factory road rally game from 67 and a 67 dealer "Facts and figures" book. 5/07/2001 Just added the announcement for the Z28 that came from the service news. You can find it in the Chevy print section 5/06/2001 Added a couple dealer promo items. The first is a promotional puzzle for the Camaro, and the last is the Cyrkle record that was supposed to be given out with a new Camaro in 67. 4/30/2001 Check out the story on the very first Z28 built. EVER. Jon Mello is the owner of this rare piece of history. You can read the story here. I also purchased a couple more pieces of dealer material. The first is a puzzle that was a promo item given out by the dealers and the other one is the dealer service news announcing the new Z28. check back soon. 4/03/2001 Added a Focus dealer training book to the Chevy print section. You can find it under the September communications kit. 4/01/2001 All printed material that came from Chevrolet, including dealer literature, brochures, training kits and technical releases, etc. is now in its own directory called Chevy print. There is a new button on the toolbar that has replaced the chat button. The chat room rarely gets used so it got the axe ! I will be scanning and adding more data to this new section daily so please check back. Please send any information you have that we don't so I can add it too... See it here. 3/23/2001 Hello Camaro fans. I have 12 sets of Chevrolet negatives to scan and get online not to mention other factory documents. These photos are the ones that were used to train the dealers on selling the new 1967 Chevrolet line and the new Camaro. These negatives are in sealed canisters and have not seen daylight since some time in 1966. Should be cool ! Check back very soon. 3/5/2001 Replaced the pictures of Don Stowers car in the Gallery with some clearer ones. Also added a picture of a Chevrolet training kit I just bought but haven't received. I will post more info when I get it. 2/21/2001 Added one more clipping about not only a first year Z28, but the first first year Z28. You will find the link on the front page. I was looking at the logs on the site tonight and was surprised we have had visitors from 47 other countries excluding our near north of the border neighbors. Aye ! Take a look 2/15/2001 Added pictures of Don Stowers Deepwater blue Z to the Gallery. Thank to Denis, for allowing me to steal them from him :) I changed the owners name on the Red car once owned by Mark Kane (AKA the Reggie Jackson car) to the new owner, Jim Webb. I have some more pictures coming so check back soon. 2/10/2001 Check out Pat Ryan's Sunoco pictures and story. It only took me 3 months to get online. <sigh>.... Things are settling down with the new business. I should have some time to get back to the site. Keep an eye on Speedvision over the next two weeks. 1967Z28.COM has sent them a bunch of info that they will be using for a COPO series showcasing some of the Gibb cars. |
